Agent Business Opportunities
Nations Express has agent business opportunities for small business
owners. If you have experience in the expedited industry, our agency
program can help get your small business started. You can choose to
go it alone through a sales agent path, or open an express center
office in your own territory in one of several available markets in
the US and Canada.
Express Center Agency: As an Express Center Agency owner, you will operate
a full service office. You will make a financial commitment to hire qualified
personnel from the transportation industry – an experienced person
for sales or customer service, and/or a person experienced in freight operations. You will be required to maintain an office location
during normal business hours with all the necessary business equipment and internet
communications to operate as an express center. You are required to obtain
and maintain a business license, business location liability insurance, proof
of workers compensation insurance for your employees as required by your state
and a deposit with Nations Express. You will develop a four-year plan for growth
in your assigned market. We provide centralized billing, collections, and credit approval. We will provide you with a weekly commission
statement, a weekly accounts receivable aging report, and your commission check.
Nations Express provides each Express Center with access to corporately approved
pricing with commercial airlines, freight aircraft companies, charter aircraft
companies, truck lines, cartage companies, steam ships and brokers. Nations
Express also provides national account sales support, and existing pre-approved,
decentralized national accounts.
Sales Agents: Commissioned Sales Agents develop customers in a specific
territory. As a Commissioned Sales Agent, your customer’s shipments
will be handled by an existing Nations Express Operations Center.
Your approved customers will be assigned your sales account number.
You will receive an accounting statement twice a month along with
your commission check and a Federal Tax 1099 form at year-end. Nations
Express will provide you with sales literature, a sales training manual,
business cards, operations training, technology training and open
access to local and corporate management. There are no caps on income
- as a commissioned Sales Agent, you can earn as much as your talent
and energy allow.
